Our Heritage

15 Years of Grassroots Service

Long before NADI Foundation was formally registered, the work was already underway — in health camps, dental outreach, food donation drives, and community health education across Andhra Pradesh.

NADI Foundation is not a new organisation with a new idea. It is the registered continuation of 15 years of hands-on charitable work in community healthcare. What began as individual initiatives — organising free health screening camps, partnering with local dental clinics to provide subsidised treatments, distributing food to families in need, and conducting health awareness programmes in underserved areas — has now been formalised into a structured, governed public charitable trust.

Over these 15 years, the founding members have served communities across the Krishna-Guntur region of Andhra Pradesh, building deep relationships with local healthcare providers, community leaders, and the people they serve. This grassroots experience informs every programme NADI Foundation runs today — because the trust was built on the ground, not in a boardroom.

Our Journey

From Grassroots Initiatives to a Registered Foundation

A timeline of how 15 years of community service evolved into NADI Foundation.

The Beginning

Grassroots Health Camps

Began organising free health screening camps in communities across the Krishna-Guntur region, developing a systematic division-by-division model that eventually covered 64 divisions across Vijayawada. Each camp is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of specialist doctors — general physicians, gynaecologists, orthopaedics, dentists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, and paediatricians — offering blood tests, sugar tests, BP checks, ECGs, eye check-ups, and free medicine distribution. The camps were run with personal resources and volunteer support, serving thousands of patients over 15 years and demonstrating that sustained, grassroots healthcare delivery can transform community health outcomes.

Growing Impact

Dental Care Partnerships

Recognising the urgent need for affordable oral healthcare, partnered with local dental clinics in Vijayawada to offer subsidised dental treatments — including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals. These partnerships made quality dental care accessible to families who could not afford private clinic rates, establishing a model that NADI Foundation continues to expand today.

Community Support

Food Donation & Relief

Expanded charitable activities to include food donation drives for families in need, particularly during difficult periods and festive seasons. Distributed essential food supplies and organised community meals, building trust and deepening relationships within the communities served. Organised visits to old age homes where children distributed fruits to elderly residents, fostering intergenerational compassion and empathy. These efforts demonstrated a holistic approach to community welfare that went beyond healthcare alone.

Pandemic Response

COVID-19 Frontline Support

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, ran a daily relief operation for frontline healthcare workers and doctors in Vijayawada — distributing N95 masks, water bottles, and sanitisers every single day to those risking their lives to protect the community. Alongside this frontline support, organised regular food donation drives for families and individuals affected by the lockdown, ensuring that the most vulnerable had access to essential meals and supplies throughout the crisis. This sustained, daily mobilisation demonstrated the foundation's ability to respond swiftly during emergencies, reinforcing the deep community trust built over years of consistent service.

Health Education

Preventive Care & Inclusive Health

Launched health education and awareness programmes focusing on preventive care, oral hygiene, nutrition, and maternal health. Conducted sessions in community centres, schools, and public gatherings to empower individuals with knowledge about maintaining their health and preventing common diseases. Also organised specialised camps for children with Down Syndrome at Cheyutha, led by dedicated doctors including Dr. Madhuri, Dr. Sowmya, and Dr. Narayana — providing educational, therapeutic, and recreational activities tailored to each child's needs, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and compassionate care.

Formalisation

NADI Foundation Registered

Formalised 15 years of charitable work by registering NADI Foundation as a public charitable trust under the Indian Trust Act. The trust is governed by a board of three trustees and operates from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Provisional Section 332 (12A) registration and Section 354 (80G) approval were granted on 15 August 2026 — NADI Foundation now enters its next chapter, scaling impact while staying rooted in the communities it has served for over a decade.

“NADI Foundation is not a start-up. It is 15 years of grassroots work that found its formal name. The communities we serve have known us long before the registration certificate arrived.”— NADI Foundation Board

NADI stands for Network for Advancement, Development & Innovation. The word “nadi” also means pulse in Telugu — the language of our home state. Just as a pulse signals life and vitality, NADI Foundation represents the living pulse of community health in the regions we serve.

Every individual — regardless of income, geography, or social standing — deserves access to quality medical care. That belief has driven 15 years of service and continues to guide every programme we run today.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

Advancing Health Equity Through Action

NADI Foundation's mission is to deliver accessible, affordable, and compassionate medical relief to underserved communities across India. We achieve this through community health camps, subsidised dental care partnerships, mobile medical units, telemedicine programmes, and preventive health education. Our approach integrates direct service delivery with long-term community empowerment, ensuring that healthcare access is not a privilege but a fundamental right for every individual regardless of their economic circumstances or geographic location.

Our Vision

A Healthy India, One Community at a Time

We envision a future where every community in India has reliable access to essential healthcare services, where preventive health education reduces disease burden, and where charitable healthcare delivery is recognised as a cornerstone of national development. Our long-term aspiration is to expand our network of partner clinics, mobile units, and telemedicine hubs to serve communities across multiple states, creating a replicable model for community-driven healthcare philanthropy that can be adopted by charitable organisations throughout India.
